Keep in mind that I was an herbal tea designer when I ventured into the realm of designing an herbal coffee. Java was created after listening to coffee drinkers tell me that they wanted a regular flavor with less sweetness and fruitiness than Original.
I cut down the dates and figs and took out the citrus top notes to deliver a purer coffee flavor with a deeper roasted body, leaving just a hint of sweet. Flavored with a natural coffee flavor that doesn’t have any of the caffeine or acidity of coffee, Java satisfies the coffee drinker who wants a medium roast with just a bit of sweetness. If you want a purely unsweetened brew, try our dark roasted Maya French Roast.
Ingredients: Roasted organic carob, organic barley, chicory, organic chicory, almonds, organic dates, natural coffee flavor, organic figs.

"I use to love my coffee, but my body started to react to the caffeine and then the acid started bothering my stomach as well. I thought I would have to live without until a friend turned me on to Teeccino. The first cup tasted a little different but good but by the second cup I didn't miss my coffee at all. I LOVE it, it does the trick and tastes very close to coffee. It doesn't bother my stomach or give me the shakes at all. I would recommend anyone try it."

"When cutting down on your caffeine intake, blending your coffee with this roast will ease you into it. It brews dark and strong.
The only drawback is the price per pound compared to coffee, which may have you, in the end, still adding at least 25% coffee to keep your costs down."

"For me, this variety is the closest to coffee in terms of flavour and sensation. It has a velvety smoothness cut through with some sharper notes. I prefer the Hazelnut, but go for this one if I fancy something a little less sweet."

"I don't like calling this a substitute for real coffee because this stands on its own feet. Not as sweet and date flavored as the original, which I prefer. I have no acid problems as with the other stuff. Just a good overall hot drink."

"I always brew half coffee and half Teeccino and the Java is my standard, go-to for a quick brew. It is good. It really gives it a bold, earthy flavor and I love it. I simply can't drink regular coffee anymore; it is not nearly as good. "

"Teecchino is the only herbal coffee that I have ever been able to use, in my quest to find a non caffeine coffee, Teecchino was recommended to me by my daughter. I was completely sold on Teecchino the first time I tried it. An added plus is that I no longer have to take potassuim supplements. I am a customer for life!"

"I tried this coffee substitute on the recommendation of a friend after my doctor told me I should stay away from caffeine and acidic beverages. I absolutely love this coffee and it's nutty flavor, but the amazing thing is that my husband loves it as well. He's very picky when it comes to taste and normally anything out of the ordinary could go either way. I started introducing it to our regular coffee but now we drink it straight and we both love it better then regular coffee. We don't miss the caffeine at all and feel we are doing something better for our bodies and enjoying it more! "
