Ginger Peach Red Tea

I was lucky to travel to S. Africa to visit the rooibos fields during their harvest. The stunning terrain immediately let me know that I was no longer in familiar territory. There is something about Africa that is immense and primordial and no amount of human overlay can cover that up. I learned that the Cape region is the 6th flowering kingdom in the world – the other five cover entire continents, but this little spot at the southernmost tip of the world is home to over 5,200 species of flowering plants. Ginger Peach is our humble offering to those flowering shrubs that blanket the mountains in spring with an unbelievable feast for the eyes.
