Why do our taste buds love roasted flavors? Maybe because it’s been embedded in our DNA since the days when our ancestors sat around fires roasting whatever they had foraged. Roasting makes everything taste delicious and converts fiber into a more digestible form. Lately the craze for raw cacao (cocoa’s botanical name) has been trending, but I, for one, am a fan of the age-old roasted cocoa flavor. That’s the magic that creates “mocha” ~ the satisfying blend of roasted coffee notes from dandelion and chicory roots against rich, taste bud-entrancing cocoa.

A cup of Dandelion Mocha isn’t just for pleasure, though there’s plenty of that! The bitters in dandelion and chicory roots kick your liver and gallbladder into action. These two roots also happen to be nature’s highest sources of inulin, the prebiotic soluble fiber that feeds your probiotics ~ those triillons of gut microflora that are responsible for creating vitamins, immune metabolites, and healthy digestion and elimination. They do everything from reducing inflammation to influencing your food cravings. Feed them and you shall thrive!

    Evil chicory root

I love this flavor, and several others, but I have finally figured out that it is the chicory root (also known as inulin) in Teeccino that is causing me horrible stomach distress. If you’re like me, and drinking this causes pain, bloating, and gas, then you might want to avoid it. I have a ton of Teeccino that I now need to give away to someone I dislike.

    Love, Love , Love

Love at first taste! I had a sample pack with my order. I will have to get a bag of the coffee.

    Well it was flavored

Not at all impressed with this version. Continually looking for the best coffee substitute..this reminded my wife and I of drinking Hot Graham Crackers. No syrup or flavor enhancer could in any way remove that odd flavoring.

  4. Gigi

    Awesome flavor!

I love this flavor! It has a very natural, potent chocolate flavor without any of the bad stuff! Add some stevia and almond milk and it’s delicious anytime of day.

    Dandelion Mocha tea bags

I’m trying to stop coffee, don’t drink that much, but i would add a tea bag into the coffee to cut the acidity. I really enjoyed it in the evenings and would always have a bag in my purse. My business takes me overnight away sometimes, so it was nice to have the teechino with me. Another thing I noticed is that it seemed to help me with digestion and elimination, which has always been a struggle for me.
I wasn’t too thrilled with the taste of this one and found I had to add two bags in a cup to get the flavor richness, but I’m not stopping here, I look forward to trying new flavors.

  9. Bella

Even my 2 year old loves this

The chocolate is a little hint. I am weaning off coffee myself and find this to be THE perfect product for me as it is gluten free. It is a different taste as dandelion is the base for this coffee. I don’t think I could drink it black, it is too bitter. I only add some coconut creamer and a few drops of pure stevia extract and it’s taste is phenomenal! My daughter says, Can I have some teecino mommy please?”! “

    Dandelion Mocha Herbal Coffee-Tee-Bags

Although the flavor of this Teeccino variety is good, I was disappointed that the strength is about half that of the regular mocha variety. I can make a two-cup serving of the regular mocha Teeccino and with the dandelion I can only make a one cup serving.
