It all began with roasting ground almonds in my oven to a gorgeous golden brown and then blending them with vanilla beans I had brought up from Veracruz, Mexico where vanilla is indigenous. I was working with native smallholder farmers who were growing and curing vanilla beans just the way their ancestors had invented many centuries before. Here’s my confession: Vanilla Nut was my first Teeccino flavor and still remains my original love. With a hint of coconut to accent the almonds, Teeccino Vanilla Nut made with dandelion roots produces a fragrant, heady aroma that wafts into your nose, excites your taste buds, and tells your body to get ready for a stimulating treat!

Even though Teeccino’s Maya and Mediterranean flavors have been tested to have no detectable levels of gluten at 5 parts per million when brewed using a paper filter, you may be worried that you might still experience a reaction to the barley in Teeccino.   • 227 brewed 10 oz cups per 5 lb bag
  • All-purpose grind brews in any kind of coffee brewer including drip coffee makers, French press pots, Italian moka pots and espresso machines.
  • Use the refillable K-cup with Teeccino’s all-purpose grind for Keurig single serve brewers.
  • Drip Coffee Maker: Use 1 rounded Tbsp per 2 cups of water.
  • Filter Cone: Use 1 rounded Tbsp per 10 oz water.
  • French Press: Add 1-2 Tbsp to ‘3-cup’, 3-4 Tbsp to ‘8-cup’ pots. Steep for 3 minutes.
  • Espresso Machine: Use the double porta-filter and 102 rounded Tbsp. Brew according to machine instructions.
  • Iced Teeccino: Chill brewed Teeccino. Or make a strong brew using 2 Tbsp per 2 cups water and pour the hot brew over ice.
  • Adjust brewing strength and drink black or add creamer, milk, non-dairy milk and/or sweetener according to personal preference.

Makes 227 X 10 oz Cups

  • Adjust brewing strength to your own personal preference. If a brew tastes too strong, simply dilute it by adding hot water, milk or nondairy milk.
  • Brewed Teeccino can be reheated because its flavor doesn’t go stale like coffee does. Store brewed Teeccino in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Iced Teeccino is delicious too!

    I didn’t think anything could come close to my the Hazelnut when I was looking for a flavor without any gluten-containing ingredients, but the Vanilla Nut really grew on me and now I look forward to it just as much. I bought a 5 lb bag, put it in four quart jars, and I enjoying seeing it there when I open the cupboard.

    smooth and earthy tasting. Anyone having stomach acid problems from drinking regular coffee, this teechino flavor is for you. Love the taste.

    I am in Australia, so have been prepared to pay the extra with the US$ exchange and postage (a killer!) because we loved the Vanilla Nut formula. However it has been changed with addition of dandelion and removal of barley. Now its much much weaker (requires double the amount to get any flavour) and the taste is not nearly as nice. I used to have to limit my teechinos in a day cause I was always wanting one – now I have to make myself drink it because it cost so much! Will NOT be ordering any more.
