Drip Coffee Maker: Use 1 rounded Tbsp per 2 cups of water.

• Filter Cone: Use 1 rounded Tbsp per 10 oz water.

• French Press: Add 1-2 Tbsp to ‘3-cup’, 3-4 Tbsp to ‘8-cup’ pots. Steep for 3 minutes.

• Espresso Machine: Use the double porta-filter and 102 rounded Tbsp. Brew according to machine instructions.

 Iced Teeccino: Chill brewed Teeccino. Or make a strong brew using 2 Tbsp per 2 cups water and pour the hot brew over ice.

• Adjust brewing strength and drink black or add creamer, milk, non-dairy milk and/or sweetener according to personal preference.

It is kind of a paradox to call this creamy, quintessential vanilla flavor “French”. After all, it was the native people living in the region now called Veracruz Mexico, who discovered vanilla where the orchid grew indigenously in the rainforest. Those clever people also discovered how to “cure” vanilla beans which entails turning them from the fresh green pod into the moist, ripened brown bean that glistens with vanillin crystals formed during the 6 month curing process. In it’s native habitat, vanilla pods are produced with the help of a native sting-less bee, a fact which thwarted would-be growers in other regions of the world, but that is where the French come in.

The French take credit for bringing vanilla beans to the Bourbon Islands where a French-owned 12-year-old African slave, named Edmund Albius, figured out how to hand pollinate the flowers and produce fragrant vanilla beans. Thus Teeccino French Vanilla reunites the Maya’s dark roasted ramón seeds with French Bourbon vanilla for a taste experience that reflects the best ingenuity of native people in both Mexico and Madagascar!

    love love love

    before i quite caffeine i was really addicted to vanilla lattes 5-8 cups a day, this is the perfect substitute and i only need to add half the sugar to match which is a bonus. teeccino is the perfect coffee substitute im sleeping soo much better now and am able to have the same amount of this wonderful drink with out all the nasty side effects and increase my health at the same time.

    A Good Place to Start

    Never had herbal coffee before? Not sure you’ll like it? The French Vanilla Trial Sized Packet is a good, inexpensive item to start with. I tried it myself, then shared some cups with other people who had never tried coffee substitute before. Comments ranged from “It’s like coffee, but less bitter,” to “It just tastes like coffee to me.”

    OK taste for me

    I was excited to come across an almond tea, since I’ve been searching for a long time for a replacement for Celestial Seasonings’ Almond Sunset Tea that was discontinued. Sadly, I found this tea far less appealing—due mostly to an odd lingering after taste. Judging from other reviews, I may be alone in my assessment, but I will not be ordering this particular tea again…
