Here’s a versatile dessert beverage recipe that can be tailored to preference. Options include adding chiles for a spicy spike, modifying the calorie count by picking the creamer of your choice, and giving it a liqueur finish or keeping it non-alcoholic.

Ingredients

  • 10 oz cups brewed Teeccino (Maya Chocolaté, Mocha or Chocolate Mint)
  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg powder (grate whole nutmeg for best freshest flavor!)
  • 1/8 tsp chile flakes or cayenne powder (Optional for those who enjoy more heat!)
  • Vegan So Delicious CocoWhip or dairy whipped cream
  • Cocoa poweder for dusting
  • Godiva® Dark Chocolate Liqueur or Kahlua® (optional)

Directions

  • Brew Teeccino using 1 heaping tablespoons per 2 cups water in a drip coffee maker or 1 tablespoon per 10 oz water in a French Press
  • Pour the hot Teeccino into a 12 oz mug
  • Stir in the chocolate syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chili flakes (or cayenne)
  • Top with So Delicious CocoWhip or whipped cream
  • For a lower fat version, instead of topping with whipped cream, foam hot milk or non-dairy milk using the Bonjour Primo Latté to create a velvety foam for your topping.
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder over the top of the whipped cream or milk foam.
  • Optional for Adults: Add 1 oz Godiva® Dark Chocolate liqueur or Kahlua® to each mug
