First brewed by monks in the hills of the Piedmonte region of Italy, the recipe for Frangelico has been passed down since the 17th century.

Combined with Teeccino’s Mediterranean Hazelnut with its buttery, full-bodied brew, the irresistible flavor of hazelnuts satisfies the appetite for a sweet, rich dessert without the full caloric load.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz brewed Hazelnut Teeccino Herbal Coffee
  • 1 oz Frangelico® liquor  (adds 103 calories)
  • 4 oz hot milk or non-dairy milk – froth to top with foam if used without other options
  • Whipped cream flavored with maple syrup and vanilla extract (optional)
  • Scoop of Ice Cream (optional)
  • Sprinkle cocoa powder on top (optional)

Directions

  1. In a 12 oz mug, mix the brewed Teeccino and liqueur.  If you desire less calories, use 1/2 oz instead of 1 oz of Frangelico®.
  2. Add the hot milk or non-dairy milk.
  3. Top with your choice of the optional toppings. For those desiring a light calorie beverage, stick with just the cocoa powder and use 2% milk!
