TeeChia Apple Crisp

There’s nothing more yummy than a good berry or apple crisp… unless that crispy crust is made with TeeChia! Enjoy this cinnamon-scented crisp warm from the oven, topped with a scoop of vanilla, cinnamon, or caramel ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups tart apples granny smith
  • 2 tbs lemon juice
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar for a lower glycemic load
  • 1/2 tsp organic butter
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt if butter unsalted
  • 1/2 cup TeeChia Cranberry Apple

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 deegrees
  • Peel, core and slice apples into 9 inch baking dish
  • Sprinkle apples with lemon juice
  • Work together remaining ingredients, lightly so not to overwork and become oily
  • Spread mixture evenly over apples
  • Bake for 35 minutes or so (until apples are tender)
  • Serve over vanilla ice cream or with whipped cream!
