Iced Teeccino Float

If you order an Eiskaffe (translation: ice coffee) in Germany to savor while you gaze at some picturesque view from the sidewalk of one of their numerous cafes, you won't receive iced coffee. Instead, you'll get a tall glass of creamy iced coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Such a simple concept for so much pleasure! The French coined the concept, a la mode for eating dessert with ice cream. Whether you call this scrumptious combination of Teeccino and ice cream a float after America's favorite root beer floats, or Teeccino a la mode for a fancier vision, you'll fall in love with this combination. Ingredients

  • Chilled Teeccino. Follow these instructions for making Iced Teeccino
  • Half & Half or evaporated milk
  • 1 scoop of your favorite ice cream: vanilla or chocolate
  • Other great flavor combinations: try coconut ice cream in Vanilla Nut or nocciola gelato in Hazelnut

For Vegans

  • Non-dairy creamer we recommend Califia Farms Barrista creamer because it tastes the most like milk with rich creamy body
  • 1 scoop scoop of your favorite vegan ice cream Our favorite is Coconut Bliss!

Instructions

  • Fill a large glass with ice.
  • Pour chilled Teeccino over the top of the ice to 2/3 full.
  • Add creamer to 3/4 full.
  • Top with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!

Optional Variations

  • Add whipped cream over the top of the ice cream.
  • Drizzle chocolate syrup over the ice cream.
  • For an adult dessert, make Teeccini instead of chilled Teeccino. Pour the Teeccini into a martini glass without ice. Then add the scoop of ice cream to the middle of the glass. Your guests will swoon over this amazing concoction but watch out you wont want to stop drinking it!
