Get the best results from TeeChia by activating its unique fiber before eating it. Simply soak a serving of TeeChia in a bowl by pouring a small amount of water over it. Water, whether hot or cold, quickly releases the soluble fiber in both chia and flax. We recommend adding milk, yogurt or non-dairy alternatives to TeeChia after it has been soaked because milk or its non-dairy alternative won’t activate the gel as quickly and efficiently as water does.
TO START: Place 1/3 cup (50g) of TeeChia in a cereal bowl.
HOT: Add ½ cup hot water and stir to mix it into TeeChia. Water that has just been boiled will absorb the fastest in under 30 seconds.
COLD: Add 1/3 cup cold water and stir to mix it into TeeChia. Let sit for 1-2 minutes for the water to become absorbed. Note: Less water is used in the cold preparation method as the fiber gel does not form as quickly as it does with hot water.
ADD: Milk, yogurt or any non-dairy alternative. Enjoy TeeChia with fresh fruit and berries for extra sweetness and nutrients. Honey, maple syrup or a natural non-caloric sweetener like stevia can sweeten TeeChia if desired. Juice can be an alternative for milk too!

"Having had the good fortune to sample Teechia, I would like to say that besides being so nutritious and satisfying, this super seed cereal is yummy! Once you activate the fiber with some hot water, add milk or yogurt and some fruit or berries, Teechia tastes incredibly good. You won't be able to go back to your dry, boring breakfast cereals. Im addicted and thrilled I can buy it online now..."

"The smell is amazing! Rich deep blueberry scent. I love the taste and didn't have to add anything, in fact I poured in some cold organic milk and stirred. It thickened and was delicious. I didn't need any sweetner. I feel so satisfied when I eat it. It feels so nurturing. I must admit that I use it as a snack right out of the bag. I have been integrating more raw in my diet and was tired of whey, soy etc. So in the morning for breakfast I drink a raw vegetable/fruit/herb smoothie and then around 11/12 I eat a bowl of TeeChia so I can do a raw wholesome lunch....I had been looking for something like this because I do not like the majority of cereals out there."

"I'm not a huge fan of "mush-like" cereal, but thought I'd give this a try. I like it a lot and I like when I feel full for hours afterwards without the carb let-down of other cereal. I don't care to be picking out the seeds from between my teeth for hours later, but worth the effort for the benefits. It's not sweet, so I can adjust the sweetness to whatever I prefer. Good prep instructions."

"This is my favorite flavor from the sampler, kept me full for 3 hours! Great tasting too. I am always in a hurry in the morning so I take it to work with some yogurt which makes it very convenient. No more excuses for skipping breakfast!"

"The blueberry date Tee-chia cereal smells divine right out of the package. I followed the recipe on the Teeccino facebook page for the gluten-free muffins (with a few alterations because I was missing ingredients): 1 pack of the Teechia mix, 1 cup gluten-free old fashioned rolled oats, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 large ripe smashed banana (but the original calls for 2), 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp baking powder, i used 1/4 cup frozen blueberries because I didn't have fresh,, 1/4 cup raisins (because I didn't have dates), 1 scoop vanilla whey powder, 1T local honey, 1 tsp cinnamon, a dash of nutmeg, and 3T chopped walnuts.
Then mix the dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients and raisins. Then fold the wet ingredients into the dry. Grease a muffin pan and bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Definitely let them cool before you remove from pan...otherwise they might crumble as they are very moist. FYI: they don't rise. They are amazing!"

"I recently had the privilege of trying the Blueberry Date TeeChia and it was excellent. I added some hot water and a touch of brown sugar -- it was divine. Highly recommended. This TeeChia will now be part of my regular routine."

"The TeeChia Blueberry has not become my breakfast of choice. It's not only fast to prepare, but it stays with you until lunch more so than other quickies. If you're like me, you wondered if it had any taste since it has so much healthy stuff and I can tell you it does. The only thing I would recommend, however, is to consume it before you have anything else. Caroline intentionally left out any sugars and such, of which I am grateful, so anything else you have that has sugar in it (like your coffee) with make the TeeChia taste bland. "

"I eat well...but I most always eat TOO MUCH. Both TeeChia flavors' serving size is the perfect amount. It is filling and satisfies with one serving! Don't know how or why, but I am finally eating a 'normal size' breakfast; and I'm not hungry all morning. I say I'm proud of myself...but it's all TeeChia's doing. "

"This is the best way anyone could start there day. I love this cereal so much that I have got several friends to eat it and love it. Every time I go in to Lassens or Whole Foods I tell the managers that this is the kind of cereal they need in there store and that its a shame they don't carry it. I also tell them that Teechia will blow away all the other cereals."
