TeeChia is our much loved cereal made from SIX organic super seeds–chia, flax, quinoa, amaranth, hemp hearts and pumpkin—with gluten-free, organic rolled oats, dates and dried fruit. Sadly, we’ve had to discontinue producing it as Teeccino now takes all our production capacity.
For all of you who love eating this quick, tasty, and healthy meal that keeps you full & energized all morning, here’s the recipe for Blueberry Date which we’ve modified for making TeeChia in your home. We’ve even provided links to brands that sell the recommended quality ingredients. The recipe is built for people who want to make TeeChia in large quantities because they eat it regularly.
Ingredients
- 535g Oats, quick GF, organics (Try Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Instant Quick Oats)
- 360g Quinoa, flakes organic (Try Yupik Organic White Quinoa Flakes)
- 120g Amaranth flakes, organic (Try Food to Live Amaranth Flakes)
- 120g Chia seeds, ground organic (Try Worldwide Botanicals Organic Ground Chia Seeds)
- 100g Flax seeds, brown ground organic (Try Food to Live Organic Golden Flaxseed Meal)
- 230g Date granules (Try Worldwide Botanicals Date Sugar Granules)
- 100g Hemp Hearts (Try Manitoba Harvest Organic Hemp Hearts)
- 200g Currants, organic oil coated (Try Amrita Zante Currant)
- 90g Date, diced (Try Royal Palm Organic Chopped Dates)
- 60g Blueberries, dried fruit juice infused (Best to get from Trader Joes)
- 105g Pumpkin Seeds (Try Terrasoul Superfoods Organic Pumpkin Seeds)
Equipment:
- 1 gallon glass jar with a clamped lid
- 1 stainless steel scoop
- 1 medium stainless steel bowl for scale
- 1 large mixing bowl
- Plastic storage bin with lid
Important: It is recommended to store leftover ingredients in a tightly closed container to prevent insect infestation during storage.
Instructions
Prep Time: 10 minutes
- After placing the medium bowl on the scale, zero out the grams so that the scale
reads “0.0” - Measure each ingredient one by one into the bowl on the scale. When the number of grams is correct, pour the ingredient into the large mixing bowl.
- Repeat until all the ingredients have been measured and placed into the mixing
bowl. - Using the scoop, mix the ingredients together in the bowl.
- Scoop one half of the TeeChia blend into the glass jar and close the lid.
- Shake and invert the glass jar to make a thorough blend.
- Add the rest of the bowl into the jar and close the lid,
- Shake and invert the jar to thoroughly blend all the ingredients together.
- Your TeeChia blend is ready to eat!
