I could have sworn it was coffee
I just started a diet to lose weight. I have to for my heart but also because I have not been feeling well with my stomach and have to make some modifications. I love the taste of coffee and can only drink one cup a day because of acid reflux. But now even that one cup makes my stomach seem as if it's on fire and my stomach gets very swollen as a result. I have been drinking tea but I really miss iced coffee and espresso!! I bought Teeccino at Stop and Shop on a whim because the bag smelled very compelling and I had nothing to lose except for $9. I'm on an acid-free diet
My first impression of Teeccino was that it was too good to be true. Three years ago I developed stomach ulcers and an esophageal motility disorder. Medication to suppress acid and an acid free diet healed the ulcers after a few months and then the doctor gave me a choice: stay on the medication forever and eat/drink what I wanted, or stop taking it and stay on an acid-free diet for the rest of my life. Drugs have side effects and I made the hard decision that it would be better to live without certain foods and beverages than to put a drug through my body every day. I had 2 stem cell transplants for a type of cancer I have. After transplant my stomach could not handle anything acidic. My daughter bought and brewed Teeccino for me! It was wonderful and soothing. I drink it all the time . My favorite flavor is Chocolate Mint!!!!

Teeccino does not aggravate my acid reflux
I want to take a moment to comment on your Teeccino Herbal Coffee. I suffer from GERD. I have had chronic acid reflux for years. In April 2010 I had an endoscopy which revealed esophagitis and gastritis. My acid problem had gotten much worse. It was then that I knew I had to be serious about changing my diet in order to help relieve the symptoms of GERD. One of the things I had to eliminate from my diet was coffee. Teeccino is vital to our healthy lifestyle
Teeccino isn't just a flavorful change of pace for us, but a vital part of a healthy lifestyle. Against the recommendation of our holistic health advisor, my husband was drinking coffee, two cups a day. . .until his body protested. The acidic nature of the coffee stirred up his gut to the point that it was causing heart attack symptoms.
