For many of us, straight up eggnog has way too much sugar and too many calories! If you are looking for that oh so delicious holiday treat but want to cut down on the bad stuff, you can make a low sugar eggnog latte by brewing Teeccino's new Holiday Eggnog blend and adding your favorite store bought eggnog. Look for brands that have just the simplest ingredients required: eggs, milk, cream, sugar and spices! No alcohol is added to these store-bought brands, so I’ve added alcoholic options if desired.


  • 8 oz brewed Teeccino Holiday Eggnog
  • 2 oz Eggnog store bought or homemade
  • 1 pinch ground nutmeg
  • 1 splash dark rum (optional)
  • 1 splash brandy (optional)

Teeccino Holiday Eggnog

We made this recipe with one of our seasonal blends, Teeccino Holiday Eggnog, a vegan eggnog that’s naturally sweet from blackberry leaves and spiced with nutmeg! For a stronger coffee flavor in your latte, try Teeccino French Vanilla created for purists who want a robust, focused body without any sweetness in their coffee or tea.

  1. In a 12oz mug, fill 2/3 with brewed Teeccino
  2. If using homemade eggnog, you can skip this step. If using store-bought eggnog, heat the eggnog to warm. Froth with a handheld milk frother or by whipping it briskly with a whisk or handheld blender to get a frothy foam.
  3. Pour eggnog into Teeccino. Use a spoon to top the cup with the frothed eggnog foam.
  4. Add rum and brandy if desired.
  5. Sprinkle top of eggnog with ground nutmeg.
  6. Serve and savor!
