Teeccino de Olla offers a delicious twist on the traditional Mexican beverage— Café de Olla. Spiced with cinnamon, cloves, star-anise, and sweetened with pilloncillo; this is the perfect drink to enjoy cozied up with family and friends!

Ingredients

  • 6 cups of water
  • 6 oz of piloncillo (or packed brown sugar)
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 anise star
  • 6 tbsp of [Teeccino]

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add piloncillo, cinnamon sticks, anise star, and cloves.
  2. Stir for about 5 minutes or until piloncillo dissolves. Stir in Teeccino, lower the heat, and cover. Let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  3. Pour through a strainer or cheesecloth to serve.
